Dina Roth Port is an award-winning freelance writer, journalist, editor, and author. She is the co-author of the Amazon best sellers Zak George’s Guide to a Well Behaved Dog (Penguin Random House 2019) and Zak George’s Dog Training Revolution (Penguin Random House, 2016). She is also the author of Previvors: Facing the Breast Cancer Gene and Making Life-Changing Decisions (Penguin, 2010).
A graduate from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Dina is a former editor at Glamour and Parenting magazines. As a freelance writer for dozens of national publications, her articles have appeared in titles such as Glamour, Self, Prevention, Cosmopolitan, Parents, The Huffington Post, WebMD, Intel, Fitness, Parenting, and Martha Stewart Weddings.
As the founder of The Essay Expert, LLC, Dina also guides students as they brainstorm and write their college essays. She lives in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband and two children. Of course, her family wouldn’t be complete without her two dogs, Baxter and Brody, and Kitty Cupcake.
